Travel is important. But, what really changes you is moving to a new place and starting to build a life there. It happened to me in Chicago. It’s happening to me in Shanghai. Being here is the hardest thing I’ve ever done but… it’s changed me. It’s like all of those quotes we post on Tumblr about wanting something more, and then waking up on a Monday morning, right in the middle of the reality of what “more” really feels like.

And, I think, as mad as I may be to say this as I’m still working through everything here, I think (and hope) India will be next.
